Song of the Week – Pink Lips, Black Lungs

Miles Kurosky was the lead singer for San Francisco indie-pop band Beulah from 1996 until their break up in 2004. He’s always been a brilliant lyricist, and now seven years since the final Beulah album was released, he’s finally released his first solo album called The Desert of Shallow Effects. All of his ear-pleasing musical craftsmanship is on display, especially on this week’s Song of the Week, “Pink Lips, Black Lungs”…
