Tift Merritt is a singer-songwriter from North Carolina with a voice sweeter than honey and a sound that’s equal parts country and blue-eyed soul. And as if that weren’t enough reason to give her the coveted Song of the Week slot, she’s also smoking hot (as seen below). Pretty generic, sounds like Sheryl Crow, which ain’t that bad if she has the staying power.
This new album is actually more generic than the last couple, which both had a little more kick to them. But I wanted to try and get her a little pub, all the same. Plus, you can’t deny the hotness, Eff-Dub.
